One Step in Front of the Other: Building Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time in the Age of Social Media

If I’m being honest, social media was never the dream.

The dream was always the children.
The music.
The learning.
The moment when a child lights up because a rhyme helped something click.

Yet here I am—creator of Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time, learning how to navigate algorithms, reels, captions, hooks, and hashtags… while still holding the heart of why I started in the first place.

The Part People Don’t Always See

From the outside, creating a brand can look easy.

People see a post.
A video.
A logo.
A finished product.

What they don’t see are the hours of workshops, the late-night YouTube videos, the note-taking, the starting over, the moments of thinking, “I understand this… so why does it still feel overwhelming?”

And that’s the truth I want to share here:

Learning something new—especially something public—can feel heavy even when you’re doing everything “right.”

I’ve taken the classes.
I’ve joined the trainings.
I’ve invested the time.

And still… it’s a process.

Social Media Isn’t the Mission—It’s the Bridge

I don’t love social media.

What I love is information.
What I love is resources.
What I love is finding tools that make life, learning, and business easier—and sharing them with others.

Social media, for me, is not the destination.
It’s the bridge.

It’s how Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time gets from my heart to your home.

And once I reframed it that way, something shifted.

One Step at a Time (Even When It Feels Slow)

I remind myself daily:

  • One post at a time
  • One video at a time
  • One lesson learned
  • One adjustment made

That’s how real businesses are built.

Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But consistently.

Resources That Keep Me Going

One of my favorite things to do is discover tools and resources that actually help.

Some of the ones I truly appreciate:

  • SCORE.org – an incredible resource for entrepreneurs who want guidance, mentorship, and real-world support
  • NotebookLM – helping organize ideas, learning, and content in ways that feel manageable
  • Lovable – tools that remind me technology can feel friendly and creative
  • Websites & platforms that empower creators instead of overwhelming them

Learning never stops—and I genuinely love that part.

Bringing Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time Home

Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time is at a special point.

It’s no longer just an idea.
It’s no longer just a vision.

It’s being brought home—solidified, rooted, and prepared for what’s next.

And once it’s grounded here?

We move forward.

To classrooms.
To families.
To communities.

And yes… one day, to the big stage.

If You’re Feeling the Same Way

If you’re building something and thinking:

“Why does this still feel hard even though I’m trying?”

I see you.

You’re not behind.
You’re not doing it wrong.
You’re just in the process.

And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply take the next step.

That’s what I’m doing.

One rhyme.
One resource.
One post.
One step at a time.
