Hi there! I’m Daphnee Fortunate, the heart and soul behind Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time. It’s a pleasure to welcome you to our world where early learning meets adventure and beats! My journey began unexpectedly, amidst homework struggles with my nieces. Faced with their frustration and cries of “I can’t do it! This is too hard!”, I improvised – beats on the table, rapping out the questions, and timing each challenge. What started as a moment of difficulty transformed into an exhilarating learning session that left us not just with correct answers, but with smiles and a newfound love for learning.
Months later, a call from my niece requesting a “homework session like Aunt Daphnee’s” was all the confirmation I needed. That’s how Tiny Teaching Rhyming Time came to life. Our goal? Passionate about early childhood education and with a rich background in theatre, I’ve spent over two years creating educational experiences that prepare kids for school and help parents support their learning. As a creative parent, I blend singing and acting to make learning fun. Based in Georgia, working on early education initiatives, I’m dedicated to building community through education. Through our digital products, I aim to transform learning into an exciting journey for everyone involved.
When I’m not chasing my dreams of becoming a content creator and producer, I am a mother to a bright and wonderful 8-year-old who keeps me grounded to find joy in the simpler pleasures of life. I love taking nature walks, embracing the peace and beauty around me. Playing dodgeball brings out my competitive spirit and reminds me of the importance of play, while singing karaoke allows me to express myself and unwind. These activities help recharge my creativity and keep me grounded.
